Overview
According to the new report, assets held by Georgia foundations increased by 30 percent — from $8.8 billion to $11.5 billion — between 2001 and 2006. The report also shows that during this same five-year period, the most recent years for which complete data is available, foundation giving rose just one percent, from $727 million to $736 million.
